Join the Magentaverse!

Pantone has kicked off 2023 with a vibrant colour that suits all.

“It is a shade rooted in nature descending from the red family and expressive of a new signal of strength”- Pantone

By using this colour in your interior design this year find a new sense of empowerment and elevate your space to a joyous environment. Find out how to pair this shade with colour combinations and flooring options.

The properties of the colour means you can pair it with warmer and cooler hues making it a highly versatile colour. This is a blessing as you have endless opportunities! Although, this can make the decision-making process more difficult.

One way to help match and complement colour palettes is to view where they sit on the colour wheel, and what colours lie opposite to each other. So, for Magenta tones the opposite would be greens.

The magentaverse colour palette includes several muted natural colours like, Pale Dogwood, Grey Sand, Fields of Rye and Plein Air, this allows Viva Magenta to take the stage and stand out amongst the neutrals.

You can pair green tones in your décor and home accessories or in your choice of flooring. Adding complementary shades such as magenta and green come together in a way were you can create a rich eclectic look.

The bold and bright variation of green features in the triadic magenta colour palette which forms an equilateral triangle on the colour wheel.

Grey goes with almost everything!

It is also an excellent choice with magenta as if you are looking to create a calmer classy effect, then grey is your go-to; creating a neutral background for the magenta to pop.

‘Wood’ you mix?

Magenta in all its variations flourishes against woods.

Used in small amounts through subtle accents and pattern within your interior design creates a cohesive mix of natural materials against a pop of colour that reflects nature.
